I am often asked, “Can we have the magic show in the back yard or at the park?”
Things to consider: There is a reason you see a movie, concert or play in a theater. In a theater we can control your surrounds and attention. The same is true of the magic show.
With the living room or indoor magic show I don’t have to worry about the weather, who’s walking around behind me or my surrounding and I can focus on delivering the best quality show for your celebration. Outside I can not deliver the same performance. Sound quality drops, kids get distracted, I get distracted, the wind blows, the sun is in my eyes, the sun is in their eyes. The list goes on and on.
Outside the kids can become distracted by a multitude of things. All it takes is for one or two children to become distracted and wander off. The next thing you know the rest of the kids are distract and the show looses a lot of it’s momentum, you don’t get those great pics and your child is no longer the focus of the party.
After 37 years of performing children’s and family parties, I have learned a lot of things. It is my experience that makes me one of the top birthday party performers in the area. I have spent years developing a show that focus on bringing families and friends together to celebrate your special event. I put all my energy, skills and heart into making this the best performance I can for you, your family and guest. After thousands of shows over 37 years of performing I have learned that indoor shows have the best success rate and yield the best show, pics and memories.
If you just want an amusement to keep the kids busy there are a lot of cheaper options than me.
Now if your still stuck on the outdoor option:
You must book it as an outdoor show in advance. (No last minute outdoor suggestions will be considered)
The outdoor show will only be 30 minutes
The outdoor show will not be my usual show (None of the custom built, colorful props will be used, as these are to expensive and subject to be blown by wind)
Complete payment must be paid in advance and is not refundable
Your outdoor show will be cancelled if: it rains, is too hot, cold or windy for Robert to perform comfortably (no refund will be issued, so have a back-up plan)
The outdoor performance area must be on solid ground (no grass, gravel or sand)
The Outdoor performance area must be fully covered.
The area must be easy to access. (close parking and a clear solid walkway)
These are not suggestions. They are part of the outdoor service contract and Robert maintains the right to walk away from any performance that does not meet these conditions without refunding any payment.
